The truth is, we all struggle. We don't get through this life without experiencing some sort of difficult emotion or circumstance - whether it's anxiety, grief, sadness, anger, stress, relationship issues etc. Psychotherapy can help you navigate these struggles, offer alternative perspectives, develop healthy coping skills, and improve your relationships.

We weren't meant to navigate life's challenges alone! Sometimes we need support from a trained professional with the education and experience to help with your concerns. My role as a Registered Provisional Psychologist is to provide you with this support.

I imagine that right now, you may be feeling like you're struggling in your relationships with yourself or others, struggling at school or at work. It doesn't have to be this way. It may take some time, but you WILL get there! I'm rooting for you, and I want to join you on this journey.

How Can

Psychotherapy help?

“When someone says to us "I care about your suffering," a deep healing begins."

-Tara Brach

How Can I Help You?

It can be hard to know when it's time to seek out psychotherapy.

If you're experiencing any one of the following in your life, it may be time to seek support from a professional:

  • Anxiety or panic attacks

  • Difficulty regulating your emotions

  • Having more bad days than good

  • Not showing up how you want to in life/not living by your values

  • Overwhelm and persistent stress

  • Burnout

  • Low self-esteem

  • Difficulties in your marriage or your relationships with others

  • Having the same fights "again and again" in your relationship with no resolve

  • Difficulties letting go and moving forward from your past

  • Consistently putting others' needs before your own, despite it impacting your wellbeing

  • Difficulty coping following the loss of a loved one, pet, or relationship

  • Feeling disconnected from yourself and your values

  • Difficulty coping with family conflict

If any of the above resonate with you, I can help. During therapy, you will learn how to overcome these concerns and live a fulfilling and meaningful life.

Disclaimer: this is not an all inclusive list of concerns that may result in a recommendation for psychotherapy.

A Few Words About Me...

My name is Kaylee, and it’s a pleasure to meet you!

Starting therapy is always a big decision, and you need to be certain that you’ve picked the right therapist. So, I think a short introduction is in order!

I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. I graduated from the University of Toronto with my Masters of Education in Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2019. I have been working in the mental health field since 2015. I encourage you to check out my "About Me" page for an extensive list of my education and training.

In my work, I strive to create an environment where you feel seen, heard and safe enough to share your deepest concerns.

I can not only empathize with your struggles, but I have been through my own. This allows me to truly understand how difficult and also rewarding it can be to overcome them.

I would be honoured to accompany you on your journey to finding your inner resilience and making positive changes. Psychotherapy can help you cope with the challenges that life throws your way!

What's Next?

I want you to be fully comfortable with the process, so after the initial consultation, you're free to decide if you wish to start your therapy with me or not.

At first, we'll work together to create a comfortable, therapeutic space, where you can feel safe to talk about what is concerning you. We will create therapy goals to give our work direction, but therapy will be at your pace and feedback is always encouraged in terms of what is/isn't working for you. I would be honoured to help you work towards living a more fulfilling life aligned with your values.

My fees are based on the Psychologist's Association of Alberta's recommended fee schedule, and they are as follows:

Individual therapy: $200 per 50-minute session

Couples therapy: $200 per 50-minute session

A receipt will be provided at the end of each session, which you can submit for reimbursement to insurance (always be sure to check with your insurance provider to ensure services are covered).

But before we get there, I'm eager to meet you and answer all the questions you may have!

Start with a Free Phone Consultation

During this free 15-minute phone consultation, I will answer all of your questions. I may ask what encouraged you to seek out therapy to ensure that I can help, but there will be no pressure to disclose anything that you don't want to. I will try to lead the conversation in a way that makes you feel comfortable.

I invite you to reach out by filling out the contact form to schedule a time that works best for this initial introduction. Filling out the form or engaging in the phone consultation does not obligate you to start therapy with me.

I’m looking forward to speaking with you! Book your free consultation now!
